The history of our brand began with a need to learn and understand the nature of curly hair and its variants. This period of learning was then able to give life to a range of products. Its then comes naturally that education remains one of our fundamental values and our first commitment.
On a trip to Senegal this commitment suddenly made sense. The beauty of this country, the quality of its raw materials, some of which are present in our products, such as baobab oil, shea butter etc… fascinated me. At the turn of this trip I had the chance to meet extraordinary people, like this association of the suburb Dakar bringing together women, who “collected funds”. After a few exchanges with them, I fell in love with their actions.
An association created by women of today for the women of tomorrow.
Their objective is to promote and support the education of young girls, from disadvantaged backgrounds, in isolated geographical areas and without access to a school system.
The association takes care of their school courses from the first year of Kindergarten to the year of the baccalaureate, taking charge of tuition fees, basic needs such as food, healthcare, clothing etc…
Hic & Nunk supports this cause actively, contributing by donations and much more..
